The earlier an idea can be taken from the page, prototyped and tested, the quicker you can see whether it works. We test how far it can be dropped, how much damage it can take, how safe it is. Prototyping and testing also lets us see how comfy it is, how easy it use to use - how nice it is. And all this is recorded so you have the data you need to go into production.
