Alpine Chalet Themed Dinner
Alpine Chalet Themed Dinner

The Development Centre (DC) team at PDD put on an Alpine Chalet themed dinner on March 6, 2008.  We showed up in woolly hats, thick jumpers and outdated ski outfits to enjoy a party in our very own custom-made (by the DC team) Alpine chalet. A crisp winter’s night of fun and frolics after a hard day of fresh air and mountain views (a.k.a meeting deadlines and working in built up Hammersmith) were enjoyed by all.  Thirsts were quenched and hungry stomachs were filled with alpine chalet themed food and drink.

On the 13th of December we celebrated our Christmas Party at a rowing club overlooking the River Thames. Guests were given their own masks to decorate and customise.

British Design Innovation: Media & Opinion Formers Briefing

The British Design Innovation (BDI) held an exclusive briefing event for media representatives and opinion formers at PDD on the 21st of November. BDI Chair and PDD CEO and Chairman, Paul Pankhurst, introduced the delegates to the event and spoke about the significance of collaboration within the innovation process. Medical Themed BBQ
Medical Themed BBQ

The medical team at PDD put on a BBQ with a twist, by using medical products and equipment to present and serve food. Tomato ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard were decanted into syringes, cocktails were served from catheter bags, spare ribs were presented in the chest of a human model and much more.

As part of our company day we sent teams of 10 to navigate their way through the Chilterns, completing many tasks along the way until they reached the evenings entertainment and their nights accomodation (camping in a field)!
